How to Enable JavaScript
Internet Explorer
The steps are as follows:
- Select Tools → Internet Options from the menu.
- Select Security tab from the dialog box.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down until you find Scripting option.
- Select Enable radio button under Active scripting.
- Click OK
Chrome
The steps are as follows:
- Click the Chrome menu at the top right hand corner of your browser.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings at the end of the page.
- Under the Privacy section, click the Content settings button.
- In the "Javascript" section, select "Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)".
Firefox
The steps are as follows:
- Open a new tab → type about: config in the address bar.
- Then you will find the warning dialog. Select I’ll be careful, I promise!
- Then you will find the list of configure options in the browser.
- In the search bar, type javascript.enabled.
- There you will find the option to enable or disable javascript by right-clicking on the value of that option → select toggle.
Safari
The steps are as follows:
- Open the Safari application by clicking on the icon in the dock.
- Go to the Safari menu at the top and select Preferences.
- Click on the Security tab at the top of the Preferences window.
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Close the Preferences window to save the settings.
How to Enable Cookies
Internet Explorer 6.x and up
The steps are as follows:
- From the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- From the Privacy tab, click Advanced.
- To adjust the settings, click the checkbox for Override automatic cookie handling.
- Click Accept under First Party Cookies and Third Party Cookies.
- Click OK.
Chrome 6.x and up
The steps are as follows:
- Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
- Mac users: If you don’t see the wrench icon, go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and click Chrome.
- Select Options (Preferences on a Mac).
- Click the Under the Hood tab.
- Click Content settings in the Privacy section.
- Click the Cookies tab in the Content Settings dialog that appears:Make sure Allow local data to be set is selected to allow both first-party and third-party cookies. If you only want to accept first-party cookies, select the Block all third-party cookies without exception checkbox.
Firefox 3.x and up
The steps are as follows:
- Click on the Tools menu, then click Options.
- Click on the Privacy Tab.
- Select Use Custom Settings for History from the Firefox Will dropdown.
- Check the Accept Cookies from Sites and Accept Third-Party Cookies check boxes.
- Save changes by clicking OK.
Safari 3.x and up
The steps are as follows:
- From the Safari menu, click Preferences.
- On the Preferences toolbar, click to select Security.
- From the Security dialog box, under Accept Cookies, click to select Only from sites I navigate to.
- Click Close in the top left corner of the dialog box.
How to Disable Pop-ups
Internet Explorer (Windows IE 9 and later)
The steps are as follows:
- Open Internet Explorer and click the GEAR icon and select Internet Options.
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Uncheck Turn on Pop-up Blocker to disable the pop-up blocker.
- Click the Settings button to disable pop-up blockers for specific sites.
- Click OK.
Chrome
The steps are as follows:
- Open Chrome and at the top right click the Menu bar tab.
- Click Settings.
- At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
- Under Privacy, click Content settings.
- Under Pop-ups, leave Do not allow any site to show pop-ups selected.
- Click Manage exceptions and add mrooms3.net to the list of exceptions.
- Select Done, Done again and Close the tab.
Firefox
The steps are as follows:
- Open Firefox and choose Preferences.
- Click the Content.
- Click the Exceptions button and add mrooms3.net to the list of exceptions.
- Close the window.
Safari
The steps are as follows:
- Open Safari and choose Preferences.
- Click Security.
- Under Web content, uncheck Block pop-up windows.
